has significant impact on employee development and the talent pipeline for the
company. Despite this, more often than not this critical HR process carries low
credibility. Give your analysis on the reasons why this happens, your analysis

growth. However it seems like Indian companies have not been able to master
this. While L&T has not been able to find a suitable replacement to Mr.
A.M. Naik for long now, has resulted in his tenure getting extended. The TATA
group also is currently facing challenges with succession post the successor
being appointed for Mr Ratan Tata. Infosys had its share of challenges on
succession as well.
